System performance analysis

MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA provides a detailed reporting which examines the performance and overall throughput of network system .Each report contains an executive summary, detailed analysis with supporting data in graphical format and recommendations for Hardware/Software tuning. A consultation with a performance engineer is also included.
System performance issues are of growing concern to many users. Many users want to know if their computing resources are "tuned," and utilized in an efficient and effective manner. The Systems Performance Program analyzes the use of all locally attached devices and their effect on the total throughput of the system.
MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA has developed expert utilities which monitor and collect performance statistics. The analysis checks the collected data against a series of performance guidelines. MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA uses a database of hardware specifications to reference a client's configuration against known benchmarks for response time. The Systems Performance Report identifies any sub-systems which are creating a bottleneck in overall systems throughput.
MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA performs real-time systems monitoring during customer specified, peak usage intervals. Data is collected via modem or customer tape and then analyzed by Performance Engineers.

Disaster Recovery

To provide system availability of client data and system resources within a predetermined timeframe based on client requirements.
Statement of Coverage
MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA's Disaster Recovery Service will provide our customers, in case of emergency or disaster, with access to direct required computing power at a location specified by the customer. MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA can tailor a plan for recovery time period between immediate and up to 48 hours. MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA considers the recovery time period to be satisfied when the client data is current, on-line and available for production.
Data Freshening Cycle
Immediate recovery requires remote shadowing software and a WAN connection to an MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA recovery center. MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA can allocate to the client a portion of mass storage for the purposes of periodic data freshening. A schedule for updating the client data is then implemented.
Testing the Service
Clients may, at their option, elect to test their system and data for proper functioning at MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA's facility up to twice yearly.

Auditing

MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA provides comprehensive site audit services as part of our contract acceptance process, or as a separate program to our clients. We capture serial number information for all the systems to be covered along with the following data:

  • Operating System and Version Level
  • Installed Features/Options (including serial numbers if accessible)
  • Firmware Levels
  • Equipment Location
  • Node Name/Cluster Membership

The serial number and additional information captured is important to our service delivery knowledge database within our Log system. We are able to track parts usage, perform call analysis, and monitor repeat call histories which results in improved service levels to our clients.
The information gathered can be used to assist our clients with performance monitoring and Asset tracking management. The information we capture from the above Audits can be ported over to a customer owned asset tracking system or ported into our own MS Access based Asset Program. This in turn will provide clients with an accurate hardware inventory as well as software assets.

 

Relocation Services

MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA provides comprehensive, cost effective nationwide relocation services. This service includes de-installation, packing, shipping, unpacking, and reinstallation at the new location. In advance of the relocation, MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA Field Service personnel will physically survey both facilities to review environmental, cabling and shipping issues to ensure that special considerations are noted. MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA will coordinate customer move schedules in order to minimize the impact on operations. The de-installation service includes verification of all systems’ operation prior to disconnection by MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA system engineers, and the disconnection of all external and internal bus power, cables, stabilization of disks and other moving parts where applicable. MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA will bubble wrap, blanket, pack and prepare all systems and components for transportation. MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA will transport the equipment with its own trucks and/or manage the movement via quality, computer equipment transportation companies. All moves are insured to the full value of the equipment. Keep in mind that "HotSpares™ " will be available in a case of a catastrophic event. The re-installation service includes unpacking and all cable reconnections. MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA provides complete diagnostic check of all the referenced equipment and guarantees the equipment to be fully operational to the system operating software level. MULTI SOLUTIONS ARUBA’ Relocation Service is a customized, nationwide service and we will work with you to ensure your move is uneventful and your equipment will be in good running condition at it’s new location.
